About Us

Nick Hornburg, Director of Finance
Major: Economics
Minor: Applied Statistics
Graduation: 2020
Interesting Fact: Swing Your Sword by Mike Leach is the best book ever written by a coach. This is not a belief I hold; rather, it is immutable truth.
Biography: I am originally from Bloomfield, Michigan and am a lifelong Michigan fan. I am also a fan of the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Red Wings and Arsenal FC (read: by fan, I mean I spend most of my life complaining about how frequently said teams frustrate me to the point of incoherency). I worked for two seasons at Carl's Golfland in Bloomfield and very much enjoy playing golf (read: playing golf primarily means turning into a vulgar, club-throwing supernova of unbridled rage). Since joining WCBN Sports in the Fall of 2017 (my sophomore year), I have called Hockey, Baseball, Men's Soccer and Volleyball. Upon the changing of the guard in April, 2018, I was appointed as the Director of Finance.
