Interesting Fact: Amer has sprained his ankle more than ten times but has never broken a bone.  

Bio: Amer Bektas is from Grand Rapids, MI, and has been around sports his entire life. Having Bosnian roots Amer is an avid soccer fan and roots for Juventus. Growing up in Michigan he is a natural Lions, Pistons, Red Wings, and Tigers fan. He played varsity soccer in high school. He covers basketball, football, hockey, soccer, and baseball. Additionally, Amer is currently doing freelance TV work at his hometown TV station WOOD TV8 and is also a part of Wolverine Sports Tv on campus.
