Bio: Alex is a lifelong Ann Arborite and Michigander. He’s a nostalgic Red Wings fan, suffering yet optimistic Lions fan, patient Tigers fan, and cynical Pistons fan. In his time at WCBN Sports, Alex has called men and women’s basketball, hockey, women’s lacrosse, baseball, softball, and men’s soccer, including the 2018 Frozen Four, the 2018 and 2019 Big Ten Softball Tournaments, and the 2019 NCAA Basketball Tournament. In addition to calling games, Alex is a regular on The Daily Sports Report as well as being a member of East of the Rockies, WCBN Sports’s softball podcast, Yostcast, WCBN Sports's hockey podcast, and Winged Helmet Wrangler, WCBN Sports’s Michigan football podcast. He will be serving the organization as Associate Director of WCBN Sports during the fall of 2019. Alex has also worked in the summer in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League (CRBCL), so if you have any questions about summer opportunities in sports media, Alex is a great resource.
